1. Di’Ja- Wan Chop ( Prod. By Don Jazzy)

In the beginning of May, Mavin Records act, Di’Ja dropped a hit record titled Wan Chop. The Don Jazzy-produced joint is so infectious you fall in love with it at first listen. It held sway throughout May and still a fire joint any day.

2. Mystro- Lagos @ 50 ft. K1 de Ultimate

Nigerian producer and singer Mystro is on a roll. The multi talented artiste who had done a couple of hits this year created a theme song ‘Lagos @ 50’, for the celebration of Lagos State at fifty. The highly melodious tune features Fuji icon, K1 de Ultimate who brought out his magic on the song and it’s currently receiving massive airplay.

3. Reminisce- Level Yen ( Prod. By T-izze)

Indigenous rap icon, Reminisce, reminded us last month that he remains the king of Streethop with his new tune Level Yen.

4. Minz- Odoyewu ( Prod. By Minz)

Fast-rising act and producer, Minz, came through with a party banger titled ‘Odoyewu’ which is one hot jam right now.

5. IB Josh- Your Style ft. Korede Bello

Budding Nigerian pop singer IB Josh premiered his music career last year with a song titled Your Style. This year he re-issued the nice Afro R&B jam but this time he got super vocalist Korede Bello on the very nice track.

6. Timaya- Dance ft. Rudeboy

Nigerian dancehall icon, Timaya, teamed up with Rudeboy (of P-Square) for Dance which is also currently still topping charts.

7. Yonda- Las Vegas Remix ft. Burna Boy

Davido Music Worldwide act, Yonda, called Burna Boy on the remix of his hit single Las Vegas. This was one of the best collaborations released that month.

8. Atela- Ojuju Calabar ( Tspize)

Nigerian Highlife singer, Atela, dished out a very melodious love song titled Ojuju Calabar. Revered producer, Tspize, nailed it with the power of his rich instrumentation and has been widely accepted since its release.

9. Kiss Daniel- Sofa

Nigerian pop star, Kiss Daniel, who had been on a hiatus since the release of his debut album New Era, returned few weeks ago with a fire dancehall banger which is a chart-topper.

10. Runtown- For Life ( Prod. By Kriz Beatz)

Afro-fusion act, Douglas Jack, who goes by stage name Runtown has come to stay. Following the success of his Ghetto University album released in the tale end of 2015, he dropped a smash hit Mad Over You on us last year. The sound god has again done it again with his new hypnotic tune, For Life. Though relatively new, the reception is unbelievable as the video attracted over one million views on YouTube in just days after release.
