YBBM finally presents brand new music video, Ah by Qdot.
The talented musician perpetually promotes Yoruba culture and tradition with his lyrically deep and rich tunes. If you remember, his breakthrough single, Ibadan, is an ode to ancient Yoruba city and second largest city in Africa, Ibadan. Qdot’s follow-up singles as Ijo Gelede and Aare speak volume about his obsession with his root. While Ijo Gelede is a celebration of a popular masquerade in Yoruba land, Aare was sang in honor of a big and respected chieftaincy title in Yoruba land, “Aare Ona Kakanfo”.
Though known for his eternal praise of his “place of origin”, he is also well-known as one of the leading Streethop artistes in Nigeria. And in spite of the heavy presence of many talented Streethop acts on the Nigerian music scene today, Qdot Alagbe stays afloat with the hot jams he puts out year in, year out. I’m sure you are familiar with Lalalu and his cover of “Parte After Parte” (Sade After Lade) which are still banging on the Streets, at parties and bars today.
Well, Qdot is out once again with this fresh 2T Boyz -produced one, Ah!
