Nigerian producer, singer, sound engineer and director, Samklef, who was in oblivion for few years returned to the Nigerian music scene last year. He has focused more on directing and singing since his return. As he stepped back in, he made it obvious he would be doing more of singing and directing this time. He kept working all day, all night , persevered and finally came up with nice jams as Ijo Olowo, Shokoloko Bangoshe and Shokoloko Bangoshe remix featuring Cynthia Morgan and Ichaba which made many of his fans who had lost faith in him accept him once again.
The multi-talented act’s hardwork and resilient spirit have finally paid off as he has just gotten a brand new record deal with KonLive Records which is owned by American-Senegalese pop icon, Akon. He was so elated he went on social media few hours ago to share the great news with his fans. He wrote: ”Officially signed to @akon KONLIVE GOD BLESS MY NEW FAMILY Thanks to all my day 1 fans”.
It has been a long time coming for Samklef. The super talented pianist and beat maker, is responsible for many big songs which include but not limited to Wizkid’s Don’t Dull and Tease Me and Olamide’s Baddo Love. He joins his Nigerian brother/ revered music video director, Patrick Elis, who was also recently signed to the international record label. This is huge. Congratulations to Samklef.
