Pheelz, like some of his peers in the music production business, has evolved into a recording artiste and singer. The super-talented producer released his first debut single, ‘Son of Abraham’ ft Olamide, in 2015 where Olamide helped with singing throughout the duration of the song. Pheelz followed up in 2016 with a second single titled ‘I.J.N’. The tune is a mid-tempo prayer and thanksgiving song: an average song supported with rich instrumentals. He made it clear yesterday he is not joking with the release of ‘Do What You Want’.
This time Pheelz produced for himself a groovy number. Here he delivered better vocals than in ‘I.J.N’. It is a dance song that talks about the depth of the singer’s obsession for a particular lady. it is one of the few groovy songs with rich and meaningful lyrics suitable for the dance floors: ”With your milk shake and oreo all I seek I find in you” ”wetin I get for my front be like omi o I no wan lost make una hold me o”. He has produced a number of groovy hit songs for top artistes like Olamide and Lil Kesh. It is therefore no wonder he crafted such powerful upbeat for himself.
With a joint like this that has the power to rock the clubs and airwaves in near future, Pheelz joins the league of producers who were discussed a couple of times in my earlier posts: These are producers who have been successful with their exploration of singing.
