Though a lover of Highlife, Afro-Pop and Afro-fusion sounds, Timaya has always made evident his bias for Dancehall music. I say with all certainty that 60% of all the music he has made over the years, is Dancehall. This penchant pushed the multi-talented musician, in 2013, to inviting legendary Dancehall rapper Sean Paul, on his then-monster hit, “Bum Bum” for a remix that topped charts across Africa for weeks.
He brandishes his love for Dancehall once again with “Iberibi” which is one hot Afro-Dancehall jam that doubles as a love banger. It is off his brand new album, “Gratitude” that houses other hit tracks as Ebiola Papa.
Iberibe is a song that is dedicated to the appreciation of the uncommon and juicy physical attributes of his woman.
